David L. Flores was born and raised in the RGV. He received a B.S. from the University of Texas Pan American in 1997. After obtaining an undergraduate degree and before law school, David worked for the Hidalgo County and Williamson County Probation Departments. Thereafter attended St. Mary’s University School of Law where he graduated with honors (Cum Laude). While in Law School, he worked for the Herrera Law Firm assisting with various personal injury and construction law matters.

David was a partner with the law office of Flores & Sanchez, P.C. from 2003 until 2006, after which he was the senior partner at Flores & Torres, LLP from 2006 – Feb. 2022. Throughout his career, he has handled various civil litigation matters, including municipal, construction, business, and other contract disputes. David has represented various School Districts including, Donna ISD, Mercedes ISD, and San Benito ISD. He has represented the Edinburg EEDC, San Benito EEDC, Donna Housing Authority and Hidalgo County Housing Authority; he has also defended various government entities.
