Oralia was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. She attended the University of Texas Austin where she received a bachelor of liberal arts in government. After obtaining her undergraduate degree and before entering law school, Oralia served as a bilingual education elementary teacher for Temple ISD where she learned the importance of being able to breakdown any subject matter to understandable terms. Thereafter, Oralia attended St. Mary’s University School of Law where she was the recipient of various scholarships and was selected as a Comment Editor for the prestigious St. Mary’s Law Journal. Since obtaining her juris doctor, Oralia has practiced only civil defense litigation. She has represented and obtained favorable outcomes for clients across the State of Texas and the United States.
